PhotoCorps is all about celebrating neighborhoods and connecting folks through photography.

Photowalks are organized to bring together residents and visitors to wander the streets of Walnut Hills. It’s a great way to explore the neighborhood and get to know new folks.

The Printed Edition
We’ll take everyone’s submissions throughout the year and gather them together for a printed edition. A jury will choose the best and if you’re selected, you receive one of the editions free! Take a look at our first edition to get the idea.

Who can participate?
Anyone! This project is for folks living in Walnut Hills or for those that always wanted to explore the neighborhood.
Can I use my phone’s camera?
Yes ! If you have a dedicated camera that works too. (You can also use film, however images must be submitted digitally.)
Do I need to go on a photowalk to submit photos?
Nope. You can explore Walnut Hills at your own pace and still participate.
How do I submit?

How many photos may I submit?
As many as you like!
When is the deadline?
The deadline for submitting photos is August 15, 2017
Do I need to get release forms?
All portraits submitted will only be used for artistic and editorial use, you will not need release forms.
What about copyright?
Rights remain with photographer. By submitting photos, we have permission for publication in the printed edition and social media.
What will happen to these photos?
A jury will review submissions and select photos to fill the pages of The Walnut Hills Edition to be released in Autumn 2017.
Who is behind this?
PhotoCorps is made possible by a Haile Fellowship from People’s Liberty, which provided a year-long civic sabbatical to research, plan and implement the idea. In this case?
